In the center of the Manhattan West development in Chelsea is a new 2-acre public park, designed by James Corner Field Operations with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP. The park is organized around a series of 17 sinuous bench-planters which will be CNC-carved from Bardiglio Imperiale Marble, quarried in the Cararra region of northwestern Italy.
We are providing engineering design, 3D parametric surfacing, shop drawings and CNC fabrication models for all stone benches in collaboration with Laufs Engineering Design.
